Life in Black and White

C&F are currently on a winter tour of Ontario, visiting old friends and some of my old stomping grounds. Spent some time with friends in Toronto and then a week with my host family in Cloyne, ON. C already blogged on the issue of getting a Christmas Tree, bush style. Ontario is very snowy at the moment and there are very few colours to be found anywhere. We tried visiting Kingston a few days ago, but only brought hiking boots so we struggled a lot with the ever-mounting snow banks. 

Right now we are in Ottawa visiting our friends D+R - and went for a snowshoeing trip in Gatineau Park today. There has been a massive ice storm recently and a lot of trees were bent over, so it was quite rugged and there was not really an obvious trail to follow.
