Went climbing to the Peak District today, to the crags and boulders of Wimberry. It's a small crag, and maybe a little green, but it was so nice to get out of town for a bit! I am not (yet) very friendly with the local grit and the so-called protection, so I was more than happy to climb on toprope - with C taking the lead.

The route above it, leading through the green streak at the top half of the wall, is aptly named and graded: Appointment with death (E9).

This apparently happened after we left on Saturday, some 20 m to the right of the second picture. Personally, I would call the ascent completely crazy, but then who am I to judge ... ?
