At the end of it all, I still want to share a few random images from along the way that could not be missed. First of all, there were a few very interesting road signs:

Second, we got a small joby that is still good enough to hold both mine and C's camera. This turned out to be very fun to play with:

And, the third and last point: while trying to stuff all our things into limited packing space in Amargosa Valley, I overdid it on my backpack and finally went through the zipper. The pack limped home after a safety pin (shown) + duct tape treatment, but I think it might be grounded from now on. I am therefore compelled to start looking for a new pack :(.
