Once again for leaving Arran, it was calm but bucketing down anyway. We went to the local museum, and learned on the way that the first two ferries of the day got canceled, once again sparking fears of getting stuck on an island. However, things brightened considerably up at mid-day ...

The ferry was perfectly on time and we are now back in Liverpool safe (well, after a fridge-cleaning session), sound, and dry.
