Start of the growing season

We are slowly working our way through things to do with our new house - quite a few weekends were spent painting various rooms, walls, picture rails, etc etc etc. The interior is starting to look reasonably good, so it was time to tinker with the outside.

With both of us working (and likely to be busy on weekends) it is quite tricky to find the time to do any gardening in February as the daylight does not usually like to cooperate in the evenings. We therefore adopted a less common policy to get some bushes planted this evening...
