Picking season
So, here is a demonstration of some of the conveniences of C's place in Milton Keynes:
Turns out that people did turn on their brains a little bit when building this beautifully landscaped city - and planted fruit trees. Wild plums in particular. The plum cake that is currently making C's living room smell very yummy is about the 7th of the season, with no plums bought in the store.

We initially came here initially to pick raspberries, but they were out already so we had to be content with blackberries and now have a freezer full of them too.
