Changing Locks

C and yours truly had our five-year anniversary this weekend, so we decided to head out for an adventurous weekend. C organized it, and I had no idea where we were (going) until we got there... Ended up not far south of Milton Keynes in a very nice area around Aylesbury and went for hikes yesterday and today (Sunday). Today we found a very interesting sight - apparently the locks in all 2000 miles of Canal around the UK are made of wood and have to be changed every 25 years ...
